Okay, so, basically:
- I missed the second day of training at amazon and they haven't rescheduled me, the ticket is still open in their HR app thingy
- I got a driver's license (got -4 on the test after minimal practice)
- I bought a battery for the car.... the wrong kind
- Tried to set up insurance but am letting the process reset because the car isn't driveable yet
- Still want to start doordash or whatever but I need a working car first, which means waiting until the place I ordered it from gets back to me, last thing they asked for was the car's VIN/ make and model so they could maybe find the right battery but haven't responded since.
- Still hold no hope for a decent future in the USA "The richest country in the world" -- still too poor to provide medical care, food and housing to its citizens. That is pretty rich, but not in the right way.
